Getting to R&A
Road tripping
Make your way to Rhythm and Alps down the iconic State Highway 6. Indulge the full kiwi summer experience with an epic roadie. #roadtorhythmandalps
Public Transport
Make sure if you’re drinking, you don’t drive. Have a plan to get back to your accommodation safely—book with Yello, or have a sober mate drive.
There are regular buses to the festival site from both Queenstown and Wanaka for Day Visitors and Campers. You can prebook your transport through Yello! This will be available closer to the time of the event.

We have 4 stages scattered around the festival grounds. Each displaying various genres throughout the day.
AT THE FESTIVAL
Wristbands
Rhythm & Alps is a fully cashless festival, everything is paid for via an electronic RFID chip located on your wristband, which you will be given at check in to the festival when you exchange your festival ticket.
Food & Beverages
Rhythm & Alps is a licenced festival providing three bars serving ice cold beers, wine and cocktails and over 15 diverse vendors providing incredible food options. Due to our licence, we cannot allow BYO alcohol on site.
Camping
Enjoy the full Rhythm & Alps experience by camping onsite at the festival. Soak up the event atmosphere 24 hours a day.
Love Wanaka
