Plan Your Festival
Want your festival experience to really pop?
We've got all the info you need to get you ready for R&A. From transport, to music, to food, to where to grab your R&A hoodie we've got you covered.
Getting to R&A
Road tripping
Make your way to Rhythm and Alps down the iconic State Highway 6. Indulge the full kiwi summer experience with an epic roadie. #roadtorhythmandalps
Public Transport
Make sure if you’re drinking, you don’t drive. Have a plan to get back to your accommodation safely—book with Yello, or have a sober mate drive.
There are regular buses to the festival site from both Queenstown and Wanaka for Day Visitors and Campers. You can prebook your transport through Yello! This will be available closer to the time of the event.
The Music
The Lineup
This year's lineup features the one and only Becky Hill, the king of DnB Andy C, Shapeshifter celebrating 25 years and heaps more of your fave artists. Check out the full first release below!
Timetable
Have specific artists you'd like to see? We have you sorted. Our timetable allows you to plan your lineup so that you don't miss your favourite acts. Keep an eye out for 2024's timetable closer to the festival!
Stages
Some brand new stages are on their way to R&A this year... deets to come! 👀
AT THE FESTIVAL
Food & Beverages
Rhythm and Alps is a licenced festival providing three bars serving ice cold beers, wine and cocktails, and diverse vendors providing incredible food options. Due to our licence, we cannot allow BYO alcohol on site.
Camping
Enjoy the full Rhythm and Alps experience by camping onsite at the festival. Soak up the event atmosphere 24 hours a day.

A Sustainable Future
We’re taking action to meet the greatest challenge and opportunity of our lifetime: a regenerative, carbon-zero future. R&A is donating $1 from every ticket sold to Love Wānaka – a soon-to-launch community funding platform.
